Our company came about because a San Joaquin Valley farming company felt a need to have both an irrigation AND pump company as a supplier. The result of that need was an idea given by the grower to Larry Isheim and Jim Martin. Larry’s expertise in design, installation and service of agricultural irrigation systems combined with Jim’s experience in pumps created the company of CalWest Rain.
In 1989 farming companies had a need for better irrigation services. From that need CalWest Rain was established providing both irrigation design and installation as well as complete service in pump design and installation. Now growers have both an irrigation AND pump company to provide complete irrigation service. Established in the fall of 1989 with one office in Kerman, CalWest Rain has added additional locations in Paso Robles and Hanford.
CalWest Rain is the complete irrigation company. From one of the largest well developing engines in the country to the last tiny drip emitter, CalWest Rain designs, sells and services it all. CalWest Rain is a member of the International Irrigation Association and can boast of three Certified Irrigation Designers on Staff.
