Job Title: Pump Test and Well Video Operator
Location: Kerman, CA
Hours: Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays during peak season
Department: Operations
Supervisor: Pump Dept Supervisor
Position Purpose: Responsible for pump tests, well videos and developing wells
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties on the well rehabilitation side include, but not limited to:
- Video wells – Operating the company video van to video wells then download results back at the office. Inform the relevant sales team along with supervisor of results. Maintain all equipment in a serviceable condition.
- Carry out pump testing – Provide accurate pump tests then report findings to supervisor.
- Airshocking of wells – Work on the Airshock tool to rehab wells.
- Run pump developing engine – Develop wells, maintaining records as you go.
- Maintain a clean & operational vehicle at all times. Keep the vehicle stocked with the necessary inventory.
- Must hold a current & clean driver’s license.
- Ability to travel and work on your own with minimal supervision once trained.
Management Responsibilities: None, but must maintain clear communication with fellow employees and customers.
Qualification Requirements: To hold this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or Experience: Minimum requirement for post is a GED with an emphasis on basic mathematics.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and implement documented instructions, tasks and provide relevant reports when requested.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect pertinent facts and draw valid conclusions to resolve the problem or situation.
